DESCRIPTION:Cirque de la Symphonie presents a magical evening with some of the world’s most amazing artists, including acrobats, contortionists, jugglers and strongmen. You will be mesmerized by the skills of each performer, expertly choreographed to the lush symphonic sounds of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra!Jack Everly is a leader in symphonic pops throughout North America. He is the principal pops conductor with the Baltimore, Indianapolis and National Arts Centre (Ottawa) symphony orchestras as well as music director for the Symphonic Pops Consortium. Mr. Everly conducted thousands of performances for the American Ballet Theatre. He conducted Disney’s animated classic "The Hunchback of Notre Dame." He also has numerous Broadway and television credits. A special dessert reception for SRU guests and alumni will be in the Mozart Room immediately following the concert.-Friday, April 23, 2010, 8 p.m. Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh.-Coach transportation leaves at 6:15 p.m. from SRU’s Russell Wright Alumni House and Conference Center. Plan to board at 6 p.m.-$94 - Dress Circle seating, reception and bus transportation.-$82 - Dress Circle seating and reception (transportation on your own).-$60 - Family Circle seating, reception and bus transportation.-$48 - Family Circle seating and reception (transportation on your own).-We have great group seats, but they are limited. (Locations noted above.) The price represents a significant savings over tickets purchased independently. Tickets will be distributed on the bus or mailed to those providing their own transportation. Refunds will not be issued unless the performance is canceled.
